Pering Laboratory (Perceptual Intelligence Laboratory) is an active research group from University of Bath. We aim to build intelligent robots that properly explore and understand our surroundings. For this purpose, we focus on the development of fully autonomous systems, and investigate a better way for them to understand the environment. The related research will span several popular fields including Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping (SLAM), Robot Cognition, Machine/Robot Learning and Computer Vision/Graphics.

NOTE that the lab right now has been full of excellent PhD students. We are not accepting new PhD applications until any opening is available.
